Pea protein is comparable to whey protein

For many reasons, people are turning to consuming plant-derived foods instead of traditional animal-derived foods. Protein intake before and after training is also included. Previous studies have suggested that certain plant-derived proteins (soy protein) have incomplete amino acid patterns compared to whey protein. However, there are other plant-derived proteins, such as pea protein. In addition, there is evidence that eating pea protein after training is beneficial.
Therefore, pea protein may be a suitable substitute for whey protein for trainers who adopt plant-derived nutrition strategies.
